Pearrygin Lake State Park Overview

The park is a Bortle Scale 2, as it is far away from city lights, meaning that it is very dark and can easily view the Milky Way.

Pearrygin Lake State Park is a 1,186-acre camping park in north central Washington, near the Western-themed town of Winthrop. The park offers 11,000 feet of waterfront on Pearrygin Lake and 6.5 miles of hiking trails. After Nov. 1, the park remains a haven for winter recreationists, and fat-tire snow bicycling. The lake offers swimming, fishing and boating. Mature willow and ash trees provide shade on hot summer days. The park opened in 1964 as a state park recreation area.

The state park is 1 of 6 Bortle 2 State Parks in the state of Washington.

The entry fee for going to the park is $10.

Overnight Accommodations

The park offers several options for overnight stays. There are 92 standard campsites and 71 utility sites that accommodate RVs up to 60 feet long (may have limited availability).

Cost: Nightly fees start at $45.00. Reservations can be made up to 12 months in advance.
