As part of our process to provide the best resources and information for you to find where to go stargazing, we are looking today at Star Parties held at Oregon State Parks. There are many groups that host their star parties in local parks, but today we will be looking at which Oregon State Parks have held star parties in the past so you can keep your eyes open for the next opportunity to attend.

The Oregon State Parks Event Calendar can be found here, so please check in there for the most up to date information concerning dates, availability, and status. Although the dates of these events change over time, here is a list of places to look for future events if curious.

Please note: Stub Stewart State Park has a form that one can fill out if they will be going to the day area for astronomy on a non-star party event. It can be found here, and does NOT exempt the user from having to pay the day use fee at the park.
