"January offers a bonus: two First Quarter Fridays! We normally only get one first quarter moon a month, but this month we get two. So join us again on January 31st for our second star party of the month.

The EAS holds a (usually) monthly star party at the College Hill Reservoir on the Friday closest to the moon’s first quarter. These star parties are free and open to the public, so come join us! We’ll provide the telescopes and will show you what’s up there in the night sky. Or if you have a telescope of your own, bring it and join in the fun."
