In this article, we are going to take a deeper look and examine the Colorado cities that will have 100% totality for the 2045 solar eclipse. The times shown are in mountain daylight time.
Colorado is the 8th largest US State in terms of area and size, and is the 21st largest state in regards to population. There are 25 State Parks in Colorado that are in totality, there are only 4 cities in that are in totality that are some of the top 10 largest cities.
We are looking at the largest cities in regards to population in Colorado; therefore, there might be some cities that we are don’t include but are in totality. These 4 cities have an average of 240 seconds of totality, which is 4 minutes, 0 seconds per city.
Please be aware that only the southern part of Denver is in totality. Therefore, assume that Denver isn’t in totality to avoid damage to the eyes unless you verify that you’re in the proper location.
