Let’s take a look at the cities in Egypt that are in the path of totality for the 2027 total solar eclipse. Please note that all of the totality times are in the local Egyptian timezone, not UTC, which should help with readability so you dont have to do the conversions to local time from UTC. These are not a list of every single city in the path of totality. But rather, these examples are large cities in Egypt that will provide coverage. Luxor is by far the largest Egyptian city in the path of totality.

Please note that Aswan is NOT in totality, as it has 99.821%. But it will provide a great base of operations due to its size and existing infrastructure.
