Not every park will be in the path of totality, but come find out which national parks in the path of totality, how much totality time, and more to help plan your travel! Please be aware that not all of these are places that you can visit and travel to, and we aren’t recommending to visit every place, but rather providing options.

‘Uruq Bani Ma’arid | The protected area is located on the western edge of the Rub’ al Khali (Empty Quarter), the largest sandy desert in the world. Uruq Bani Ma’arid is in an area in which the Arabian oryx used to live before it became extinct in the wild. The area is totally fenced and protection from livestock grazing has allowed a spectacular recovery of native vegetation.
