Here is the list of the 2022 Astronomical Events that will be visible in the Pacific Northwest! There are some items that we have left off such as the annual solar eclipse if the event was not viewable in some area of the Pacific Northwest. Put these events on your calendar and get ready for some fun in 2022 as there are plenty of special astronomy events in 2022.
May 15th – Total Lunar Eclipse. This total eclipse will see the Moon completely pass through the Earth’s dark shadow, or umbra, which will turn the moon a rusty or blood red color. NASA does provide a map and Eclipse Information.
